Example of a Ban Art Work- Frozen Nosh
The work is strategically displays as an example of ban artwork in 2050. 'Frozen Nosh' is a satirical critique to the phenomena of displacement of peasant populations and the formation of a landless proletariat which has accelerated in the last three decades. The animated figure is inspired from an imaginative character and his innovation called 'Khuror Kol' drawn by 19th century Bengali poet Sukumar Ray which amalgamated with the drawing of 'Common Man' by the Indian cartoonist R.K Laxman. 'Khuror Kol' is a trap which can drive the people from the villages towards the big cities.
