The video 'Vale of Opium' is an archive of the dates on which Dalits and Muslims were killed or tortured by the violent mobs either on the crowded streets or even inside the premises of the victim's house. Since 2015, after the official 'Beef Ban' rule, the 'Mob Lynching' became a very common phenomena in India, in the name of saving cow by few Hindu terror organizations like 'Bajrang Dal', 'Viswa Hindu Parisad' etc.

Placing the iconic tune of 'Doordarshan' (First television channel of India)that is 'Saare Jahan Se Acha' along with the tormented bodies procured from the history of painting and photography, here I am trying to draw the contrasting picture of truth and telecasted news.
